Bay State Pro-Family Leader Calls Militant Homosexual Intolerance 'Typical'

(AgapePress) - A Massachusetts pro-family activist says he is not surprised by recent reports of homosexuals directing hate speech against heterosexuals in one Cape Cod community.

Police in Provincetown told the Boston Globe that, over the July 4 weekend, they received numerous complaints of homosexuals calling heterosexual people "breeders." The paper also says Jamaican workers reported being the target of racial slurs, and a woman was verbally accosted after signing a petition that opposed same-sex "marriage."

Brian Camenker, who heads the conservative pro-family group Article 8 Alliance, says such behavior illustrates the militancy of the homosexual activist movement. "This whole business of 'breeders' and everything else, I guess that's sort of new, for them to do it publicly," he says, "but I'm going to tell you, that is the nature of the homosexual movement."

That movement is "very angry, very enraged," Camenker contends, "and a lot of this stuff is just below the surface waiting to come out. And it does come out." But even though he believes the intolerance displayed by homosexuals in Provincetown is typical of "gay" activists, he says he is surprised the Boston Globe is willing to talk about it.

The Article 8 Alliance spokesman feels militant homosexuals try -- often successfully -- to silence critics of their lifestyle. He cites a recent local incident as a case in point.

"A fire [department] official in one of the towns on the Cape was basically let go from his job," Camenker says, "because one of the homosexual members of the board of aldermen discovered that he had signed the anti-gay marriage petition. So this kind of intolerance -- we're going to start seeing more and more of it unless this movement is confronted."

And that confrontation must take place soon, Camenker suggests, as he says intolerance displayed by homosexuals in Massachusetts schools has become "frightening." In Provincetown and elsewhere, he asserts, homosexual militancy seems to be increasing -- and tolerance, apparently, is a one-way street.
